PLAGUE INC: EVOLVED

Plague Inc: Evolved is the Steam version of the massively popular multi-million selling iPhone game. Your aim is to selectively evolve your disease, spread across continents and ultimately infect the entire world.

My main role was to assist in the development of the multiplayer solution which allowed players to play both competitively and co-operatively across Steam's peer-to-peer network.

HEROES OF STORMTREE

GEEK BEACH (2015)
A mobile RPG/Tower Defence hybrid set in a 3D fantasy world where players level up their hero character, discover and craft new weapons, armour and items, construct and upgrade defences as well attacking other players.

This cross-platform multiplayer game was built using Unity and C# whilst the server-side code was written in PHP and data was stored in MongoDB.

GEEK BEACH (2012)
Battle Monkeys is a cross-platform (Web, PC, Mac, iPhone, iPad and Android) four player live multiplayer strategy game.

Players can upgrade through five different types of monkey and customise each one with combinations of all sorts of crazy outfits as well as ranking up on the Gamenet leaderboards and compete in regular tournaments.

Pixel Cricket is a retro multiplayer Flash game that harks back to the 80's with its blocky graphics and simplistic gameplay.

Players can choose the country they want to play for and then compete in three different game modes, Batting, Throwing and Catching.

They can also log into the Gamenet multiplayer lobby where they can compete in 3 or 5 over games against other players.

Pixel Football is the second game in the retro Gamenet Pixel Sports series.

There are three single player modes, Shooting and Saving and a 'hidden' Headers mode along with World Table for country rankings.

The real fun happens in multiplayer where you compete in a penalty shootout situation.

It's a quick-thinking single player and multiplayer strategy game in which you battle it out against 3 other Jelly characters using weapons and power-ups.

It's had several million players and was well reviewed by Jayisgames.

Monsters is a really fun and addictive physics puzzle game with over 100 levels to complete. Built in Unity it's available on iPhone, iPad, Mac App Store, Android and the web.

Developed by the fayju team, I helped out with gameplay components and level design, as well as the Android deployment which involved integration for Android Market In-App Purchases and various plugins including Tajoy and OpenFeint.

A 4-player multiplayer strategy game built for the Discovery Channel set in the future where players use their 5 3D mining bots to battle it out to mine Helium-3 from the moon's surface.

Members can also upgrade their bots with various addons and compete global leaderboards for individuals and countries.

The game stores every game ever played and records in on an interactive 3D moon.

The site also uses various services including Google Analytics, automatic Amazon synchronisation as well as Google Apps and ZenDesk integration.

Built to tie-in with Panasonic's Lumix camera campaign, this is 18-hole 3D golf game with holes inspired by famous locations from around the world.

We combined the physics and flexibility Box2D engine and extruded it into a interactive 3D environment filled with monuments, rotating pyramids and animating taxis and buses.
