Research allows you to unlock more advanced buildings, enhance existing technologies and reveal new transportation systems in the game.
Research is carried out at Workshop by workerbots who requires Energy and additional resources depending on the particular research. More advanced research requires upgraded Workshops and higher level Energy, which are obtained from upgraded Residences.
You can access the Research panel in the top left of the screen or by selecting a Workshop.
