Understanding Research

Research allows you to unlock more advanced buildings, enhance existing technologies and reveal new transportation systems in the game.

Research is carried out at Workshop by workerbots who requires Energy and additional resources depending on the particular research. More advanced research requires upgraded Workshops and higher level Energy, which are obtained from upgraded Residences.

You can access the Research panel in the top left of the screen or by selecting a Workshop.

Buildings may require research to be built. The requirements section under each building will identify what resource needs to take place.

DCL New Lands adds additional research paths.
