Steam Workshop Maps And Map Creation
Steam Custom Maps
Custom Maps that have been published to the Steam Workshop may be accessed via the "Custom Maps" in the middle of the main screen.
4 Tabs will show:
- Featured
- All*
- Subscribed*
- Favourites*
(*) These tabs allow filtering by: text in Map Title/Description, # of players(Any, 1, 2+), Date/Subscriptions/Ratings)
-- Selecting a Map will open the map in the Right Side Panel that will show Map info such as Author, Published date, Leaderboard access, Subscribe/Unsubscribe
Subscribed maps allow you to access via the "Play" Map.
Create Custom Maps
Create or edit your own map via the "Map Editor" on the bottom left of the main screen.
My Maps
- Maps Created previously but not published
Test, Edit, Delete - and Publish (and change Steam Public visibility)
Create New Map
Create your own map
Active Mods: Choose Mod(s) to use in creating/editing a map.
- Terrain: Flat or Random (See Random_Maps)
- Size: 20 to 300 in increments of 20
- Start Height: Deep Sea / Shallow Sea / Low Land / High Land / Mountain
